What Can I Do With the TN811 Mobile App?
By Kathy Quartermaine, Public Awareness Coordinator Tennessee811
The Tennessee 811 mobile app offers fast and easy access to many resources for utilities, excavators, locators, and homeowners. The app is free and available for download on both Android & iOS (Apple) devices. Just go to the app store, type “TN811”, and look for the icon with the yellow background.
One of the most useful tools in the app is the ability to look up a ticket. After you open the app, just tap “Find Tickets” and you can search for a locate request by ticket number, date range, county, excavator name, street name, or phone number. Once you find your ticket, you can view all information on the locate request, the area that was mapped out when the ticket was entered, and what responses have been posted by the utilities.

end of the day. There’s even a guide to using the app for Positive Response that you can get to from
within the app, to make it as easy as possible.
You can also use the app to get to our ticket portal to enter a new locate request via E-Ticket, check out the Tennessee Damage Prevention Guide, view the color code for utility markings, get a refresher on when white paint is required, access the state’s website on enforcement of the dig law, and more.
